This is what I'm making for dessert!
This is what I made for dinner! yummy!
This is the craft I made with my Mother-in-law and Sister-in-laws a few weeks ago. We got the idea from Michael's and made it for half what it would have cost to buy it from there! I love it when I make cute stuff and save money doing it!
Dinner used to be something I dreaded. One because I couldn't cook well, and two,I hated trying to figure out what to make. With my husband loving patience and strong stomach, I have found the look of cooking great meals for my family, and they actually love it! I plan my meals for one week, I go shopping once aweek, and it has greatly reduced my stress and anxiety about what's for dinner. I even use my crock pot a ton because its so much easier to let the crock pot do all the cooking! It frees up my time to play with my kids, get more chores done, and I can actually do things I want to do like scrapbook or make cards! So on the menu tonight: Orange chicken in the crock pot of course! Chinese Noodles (it a recipe I got from a Schwans book, I called that) Rice Egg Rolls So if you are like I was and dread dinner, make up a menu, have your hubby and kids help you pick out what to make, it takes so much stress off. Enjoy your dinner! Heidi P.S. if you ever want a recipe I use, let me know. Mine are usually on Pinterest!

So I've realized I haven't blogged in a year! Yikes! So we'll just pick up where I left off! The other day I was feeling very crafty ambitious whatever you want to call it. I have never canned by myself, and I attempted to the other day. I canned 12 quarts of apple pie filling, and I'd like to brag and say I think I did pretty good for a beginner! We ate some for breakfast, I fixed the kids Danish pancake with the pie filling! Yum-a-lisious! I'm so proud! And I didn't have to reseal any of the bottles! I rock! I so want to can something else now! I will post a picture with the recipe when I can figure out how to do from my iPad... I'm hoping to post more so keep checking back! Thanks for checking in!
